On Monday March 6th, At the American gas station on Main Street, While fueling a 5,000 gallon oil truck experienced a mechanical malfunction. The truck traveled down the hill and struck a sign post. The concrete and sign did damage to the bottom of the tank and valve body. Then spilling fuel onto the roadway. The spill was contained and the truck was off loaded.
