On Wednesday Morning 8/12 6:02 AM 60 Control dispatched MKFD E-104,105 TL-14 R-15 for reported structure fire 540 Main Street. Upon arrival Car 2284 transmitted 1075 added to the assignment E-103,106 R-31 R-10 FAST. It was then reported there were still residents in the building, The engine crew quickly stretched a line, Chief Hughes and Captain Comito located one victim on the second floor. The female victim was removed and CPR was administered. Both residents were transported to NWHC by MKVAC. This was the second working fire for MKFD in a week. Even with the efforts of Chief Hughes and Captain Comito and all the firefighters and EMS, we were saddened over the loss of the female resident. All units were returned to service at 9:00 AM
