Large Brush Fire in Armonk Shuts Down Route 22

On Thursday 4/16/2015 Armonk FD was dispatched to a brush fire in the area of the Rye Lake Bridge on Rt 22. north White plains Chief 2321 on location stated there was a large area of brush and assistance was needed. mutual aid units were dispatched. Upon arrival AFD 2024 and Battalion 16 requested the following units from 60 Control, in addition County police Aviation unit was a huge help with their water bucket. Car 2021 was the IC for the event
